1. About Goodli

Goodli ("we," "us," or "our") is a micro-crowdfunding marketplace that connects individuals who need help with everyday expenses to community members willing to contribute. Goodli does not hold, transfer, or control funds — all payments are processed through Stripe Connect and pass directly between donors and recipients. By using Goodli, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a legal resident of the United States to use Goodli. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that do not meet eligibility criteria.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Goodli reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

4. Requesting Funds

To post a funding request, you must complete identity verification (KYC) through our partner Didit and connect a bank account through Stripe Connect. Requests must be for genuine, personal financial needs. Goodli uses automated moderation and human review to evaluate requests. We reserve the right to reject, remove, or flag any request at our discretion.

You may not post requests for illegal activities, luxury goods, gambling, substances, or any purpose that violates our Community Guidelines.

5. Donations

All donations are voluntary and final. Goodli does not guarantee that any request is legitimate, and donors give at their own discretion. Donations are not tax-deductible charitable contributions. By donating, you authorize the charge to your payment method and acknowledge that the funds go directly to the recipient via Stripe.

No refunds. Because funds are transferred directly to recipients, Goodli cannot issue refunds once a donation is processed. If you believe a request was fraudulent, contact us at info@goodliapp.com.

6. Fees

Goodli charges a platform fee of 5% on each donation, deducted from the donation amount before it reaches the recipient. Recipients who choose instant payout are charged an additional 1.5% fee. Stripe's standard payment processing fees also apply. All fees are disclosed at checkout.

7. Identity Verification

Recipients are required to verify their identity through Didit before posting a request. This process collects government-issued ID and other personal information. By completing KYC, you consent to Didit's collection and processing of your data per their privacy policy. Goodli does not store raw identity documents.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Create fraudulent or misleading requests
• Use Goodli for money laundering or illegal activity
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Attempt to circumvent our moderation or verification systems
• Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the platform
• Post requests on behalf of another person without their consent

9. Intellectual Property

Goodli and its content, features, and functionality are owned by Goodli and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the platform without our written permission.

10. Disclaimers

Goodli is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not verify the accuracy of requests beyond our moderation process, and we are not responsible for how funds are used by recipients. Goodli is not a bank, charity, or financial institution.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Goodli shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the platform fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on the platform. Continued use of Goodli after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
