How Goodli Works
Goodli is a community-powered micro-crowdfunding platform for small, everyday needs. Here's everything you need to know as a requester or a donor.
For Requesters
1. Verify your identity
Before you can post a request, you'll complete a quick identity check through our partner Didit. This keeps the community safe. Your legal name is never shown publicly.
2. Post your request
Describe what you need and why. Be honest and specific — the community gives more confidently when they understand your situation. You can post anonymously if you prefer.
3. Connect your bank account
You'll connect a bank account or debit card through Stripe so donations can be sent directly to you. Goodli never holds your money — funds go straight from the donor to your account via Stripe.
4. Get funded
Share your request. When donations come in, funds are paid out automatically.
When Will You Get Paid?
Free — included with every request.
- Funds arrive in 2 business days to your bank
- Your first payout may take 7–14 days while Stripe verifies your new account
- All payouts after the first follow the 2-business-day schedule
1.5% fee deducted from your payout.
- Funds arrive in minutes to your debit card
- Bypasses the first-payout delay — money arrives fast even on your first request
- Requires a debit card connected to your Stripe account
The first-payout delay (7–14 days) is a Stripe requirement for new accounts and applies only once. Choosing Instant Payout on your request sidesteps this delay entirely.
Fees
Example: You request $100. The donor pays $105. You receive $100 (standard) or $98.50 (instant).
For Donors
Browse requests and give to the ones that move you. No account required to donate.
A 5% platform fee is added to your donation to keep Goodli running. The amount shown on the request is what goes directly to the person in need.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Goodli never stores your card details.
Donations are non-refundable once processed. Please read the requester's story carefully before giving.
Safety & Trust
Every requester's identity is verified before their request goes live. We use Didit for government-ID verification.
Requests are reviewed by our AI moderation system and may be reviewed by a human before publication.
Users who post fraudulent or misleading requests are permanently banned and may be reported to law enforcement.
